Porcelain Tile Floors: Will I need additional deep cleaning services if I damp mop everyday?
Daily damp mopping does not eliminate the need for future deep cleaning. Most tile floor discoloration is due to the accumulating dirt, sand and grime found within its pours. Even the most quality microfiber mopping system has very minimal penetrating ability. True tile cleaning goes beyond the surface of the floor, penetrating deep within its pours, agitating the embedded soils, and then completely suctioning everything out. No mop and bucket system can accomplish the depth of cleaning needed to maintain the original appearance of such a surface as porcelain tile.
Grout: Why are my grout lines so dirty?
If you have recently had professional deep cleaning services and are mopping regularly, yet, find that your grout lines have quickly discolored, it may mean that you're not changing your rinse water as frequently as you should. In this instance, when mopping, the lip of each tile begins to act as a squeegee to the mop head as you're passing from tile to tile. As a result, the soils you intend to wipe away end up being deposited directly back into your grout lines. Our tile deep cleaning service, we offer daily cleaning and maintenance programs that will ensure your floors stay cleaner longer.
VCT (Commercial) Tile: How often should we be stripping and waxing?
No two floors are the same, and so there is no specific number that fits every situation. The frequency of stripping and waxing can be significantly minimized by regular buffing and burnishing techniques through the use of our high speed rotary machines. Why does my bathroom always look partially cleaned?
One reason my be due to the buildup of natural hard water stains most commonly found in areas of high moisture. Hard water stains are nasty looking mineral deposits that cause crusty scales, stains, film, and mineral rings around your plumbing, fixtures, glass and anything else such water based minerals may come in regular contact with. Awareness and proactive chemical treatments will reduce and eliminate the visibility of these stains however, most chemicals designed for removing hard water stains are highly aggressive and can cause irreparable damage to your fixture or surface if not used correctly.
